Coast to Coast
I took an angle grinder to my frame to cut off the old seat brackets and helmet holder(and some chunks of skin from my left index finger).

Very Clean!!... but where are the pics of the chuncks of skin off the left index finger??... LOL..

You asked for it. It's actually not that bad. Just a minor flesh wound. I felt lucky afterwards that it wasn't worse. It didn't hurt until I was in the shower.

CRIPES Eric!!.. I was just kidding...ewww!!.. LOL..
I have a weak stomach dude...I get sick and pass out whenever Patty watches ER or even Greys anatomy on TV..

It's too bad that the camera on my phone sucks. I couldn't get as much detail as I would've liked in that picture. :p

Well thanks dude...Im already trying to keep in my breakfast and the last thing I need is more detail!!..LOL

To heck with your flesh wound - tell us more about that seat. Looks sweet.

I bought it from Benji at the end of last riding season. It's very solid, but not too heavy. It's a rather skinny seat, so the lock and hinge were digging into my legs. I was a bit hesitant to cut them off because there's pretty much no going back afterwards. I obviously ended up hacking the bits off. I'm quite happy with it now. I can't wait to actually ride the bike, but 20+ inches of snow has me off the bike for a while. It gives me time to get my new shocks on the bike. There's not much padding on the seat (or my ass). The rear shocks are pretty much done for. So the ride has not been too comfortable as of late. I have an order into cycle-recycle(who I thought I'd never order from again) for some new EMGO shocks. They're 5mm shorter, so I will be lowering the triple tree a bit to match. Anyways, I hope this snow goes away soon. I want to ride this damn thing!

Thought it looked like a Benji seat, but have never seen one upholstered - looks like a pro stitching job.
