Pic 1 shows size difference as reference.
Pic 2 shows the offset eyes on the shock. Does it matter which eye goes on first? top eye appears to be on center.
Pic 3 shows shock mounted on top right stud. There is space between eye and threads.Can I use washers to fill in the gap or would a solid spacer work better? Washers on inside or outside of shock or on both sides? The weld holding the stud to the frame is not smooth. Should I put a washer if first so shock has a flat surface to fit against?
The ends of the rubber spacers stick out beyond eye and they are cracked and chipping. Should I get new spacers? If so, where would I take them to be replaced? bike shop, shock shop, machine shop?
