Polished gauges are simply the originals stripped of the black paint to reveal the S/S barrels and hand polished. Then coated with a HT Clear coat.
I have themed the bike on "revealing the metal" eg the brake callipers and the fork clamps etc...
The high finish polishing (forks , engine casings etc) was done out side by a talented young guy... and the general polishing I did on my own machines and work bench.
I intend to keep the rear fender and currently I am working on working on fitting the cafe seat. Needs a little modding and adjusting but I hope to be able to get a great looking fit through tank to frame to fender
