Shorter brake hose?

No quarter given, none taken.
Hey, anyone know of a way to shorten a hydraulic brake hose? Or know of a shorter brake line? I was looking at my bike and not liking the too long brake line. It's about 4-6 in. too long. Pretty sure, the local shops dealing with hydrualic lines arond here don't go that small. Rural area, lots of tractor parts, not so much bikes. Thanks guys!

We make them where I work. Any color, any color end, any length, any angle bend on the end. Made to order. PM me for info or, if it's ok, I'll post the business name and info here.

http://slingshot-cycles.com/ makes custom brake lines, many have the option to be cut to clubman/clip-on length. Plus they make stainless lines, which is always a worthwhile investment. If you do decide to use them, I think the coupon code "caferacer" hasn't expired, and if I remember it was either 10 or 15% off.

Call 941-953-4423 (Roaring Toyz). Talk to Brad the parts sales manager. Store hrs are 10am-7pm. He will do a special on lines till 7/25/12. $40 each. These lines are all stainless. Clear, smoked, black, translucent colors, solid colors. Mention you are a member here on Do The Ton for the special price.

BTW, Here's a link to see your line options. Don't worry about the application. All lines will be custom made to your specs.

That's not a bad price. I just paid $48 locally for a 12" steel braid hydrolic line. It did come with the four crush washers as well.
