I thought it was going to look lame at first, but I needed to see what a white stripe would look like. It came out so well, that I have no plans on painting it on.
 
Ringo, that is one bad-ass color scheme. I was going to do that to my cb450 as well, but just changed my mind a couple of weeks ago. I decided to go with gloss creme and green powder coated frame with a green stripe. When I get into my second bike (maybe cb500t or cb360) I am going to do the gulf colors or some other vintage gt race color.
 
Not the best pic, but my monster has a stripe down the center. I like how it has the S4Rs above the fuel filler.
I was thinking about having a sticker made for my CB360 and clearing it in the same way.

On my CB360 I went with panels instead of stripes. Almost the same thing, I just ended them before the edge of the tank and seat. It also allowed me to taper the "stripe"

Looks nice, just wondering because I saw a vid on how to make a wooden seat and looked similiar, but your paint scheme is one off, so I thought it had to be you
