Showing off my other ride

Been Around the Block
Haven't quite finished the cafe bike yet, but I cleaned up my other ride last night and took some pictures on the way to work this morning. This is my other baby. A 2003 Honda VTX 1800cc Retro. I am constantly changing it up! Before the hot-rod bagger look, I was rocking 20" apes. The fairing is off an old harley, and the bags are from a company out of Japan. Last dyno'ed, it was running just over 100hp with gobs of torque. Like riding a lazyboy compared to how the Cafe bike will be :D

Here is the same bike...2 years ago

Wish I had a better camera. The bike is a rich candy red color. My shitty camera doesn't convey that very well. :(

Looks sweet with the Harley fairing.
Will be a welcome change from driving the cafe for long trips, for sure.

P.S. My Dad needs this bike... Not that I wouldn't take it out on the weekends. ;)

You saying it's an old mans bike? LOL. I am only 26 man. 8) I am actually thinking about selling it. Hoping to get around $10500 - $11000 for it, but who knows with this market. I need that in order to replace it with another ride.

thanks bro. looking forward to the next project now. Especially since I know who to call for powder work! LOL.

yup. I've got a buddy that rigged up something similar on his mudder. Got a disk brake rigged into the rear drive shaft

Haha, I guess that is kinda what I said... But don't worry about it. I think my Dad needs a really cool bike. lol.

Too bad you're not located around here.
Just showed it to him and he loves it too. hah.

clocked accouple hundred on it saturday. Was a great day to ride! Thousands upon thousands of bikes on the run. Probably one of the better years in fact. Went out to the garage last night to get something, and noticed my rear tire is flat. fuck. Just glad it didn't go flat on the run saturday. Here is a picture from one of the towns we stopped at:

Here is a video a friend took of bikes rolling thru another town:
