Simple fenders?!?!?

ebay sucks balls, everyone wants like $100 for a shitty fender. I don't want to spend more than what's in my pocket... Anyone know a good source for a plain jane presses fender? I just want to replace my rear fender with a smooth one, on the cheap. I guess I should say, I need to look for a fender that is maybe 4" or 5" wide...

Good luck man. They arent cheap, unless you go with a flat trailer fender, which looks like ass in my opinion. Thats why I just said "fuck it" and am making a fibreglass one for the chop.

trailer fender?

NM, Von beat me to it, best bet would be to find a fender from another type of bike that'll work... otherwise yeah, trailer fender or expensive fender.

Sometimes, you can find nice old Triumph fenders out there for cheap. Its rare that they pop up in good condition though. XS650 fenders are tits. Thats what I used to mold my seat, and part of my fender from.

Any antique auto salvage yards in your area? You could probably pick up a spare tire ring off a 30's or 40's care for $40-$50? Use half of it and ebay the other half for a $100

First of all, I understand the aversion to eBay, but I personally have a Love/ Hate type thing with it so maybe I'm an emotional masochist.

I just typed in "triumph rear fender" on eBay and came up with several pages of options, some with starting bids under $10. Good luck!

Love your artwork BTW! I grew up in Miami, talk about sucking balls (not literally!) ;D

aye diablo mio! I must be tarded, cause when I just type motorcycle fender a bunch of crappy stuff shows up and you guys found cool shit in a matter of seconds!

Yeah, I love my friends here, but the city itself sucks crush. I wish I could move back to LA like yesterday!

i held off for the time being since summer is coming up and in Miami that means a little down time from riding because it rains every day. I plan to do some frame work and let that direction guide my fender choice.

I agree with these guys. Try different key words for your ebay searches and that may help. Otherwise I have used trailer fenders or find a cycle junk yard in your area if they have them. I usually can find a truckload of them on ebay for cheap but the shipping is what kills you!!!
