Been Around the Block
Hi
I've been trying to think of an easy way to mount my rearsets and have come up with this idea....(see below)
It's a steel plate that bolts to the passenger peg hole and then clamps to the bottom tube with a U-bolt. I'm going to use spacers to clear everything that the levers would hit.
Will make a plywood test piece first.
The advantage of this set-up is that it will be easy to fit (no welding) and very adjustable in both directions. Also, fully reversible incase i want change my clubmans over for mini ape hangers.
I know, it definitely won't appeal to the cafe purists who prefer the minimalist look.
Will list all parts required when I get it finished.
Interested to know what you think.....
