Six wire ignition switch to a three wire?

Just like the title says. I have a 1981 cb400t. The switch is bad and I want to rep,ace it with a Harley style switch. Is it possible?

What's a Harley style switch?

You know you can replace the OEM style switch for about $20... right?

Almost bought from this same guy on eBay. His rep is so so and a lot of the complaints are that stuff doesn't fit the bike it says it should.

I need to replace mine too I have 4 wires going to 3 pins my current one and it works it's just not tidy.

This one for sale on eBay has a six pins?

Any answers would help us all

I have no experience with the eBay seller. I was just showing what's available.
I do have a PartsNMore switch on my '78 CB750. Plugged right in and works like a charm.
