Okay, I know plenty of folks have done this. Any advice on how to do it well?
My friend is a short legged woman and bought a cb450. I've put some shorter shocks on for her and the seat is the next step. Getting a real thin but strong seat pan would be good. A skateboard could be a fun recycled method. I'd like to add padding while letting some of the skateboard show at the edges.
At Barber last year Kiley and some of the guys told me there was a guy up east on DDT that did great leather upholstery work. Anyone know who that is?
I got the below skateboard free for the asking at a shop in Columbus OH. It may not be the final one but it's a good and free starting point.
Thanks for any advice on this topic.
