I have a 550, but I thought the passenger pegs were too far back for rearsets? How is your riding stance with them on?

Imo, it works quite well.

I could see it being uncomfortable in you are 5'9 or shorter running clip-ons.

I've tried rearsets back there. And I am 5'8" and I hated it. I felt like I was trying to be Rollie Free (although with pants on).
What worked better was to get a set of mountain bike stems and bolt those on the down tube just in front of the rear passenger peg mounts. I then fit, drilled and tapped an aluminum down into the 90 degree offset clamp (the "other" end of the mountain bike stem) and bolted the rearsets to that. Just had to shorten the rods, etc. Worked well.
