anything I've ever seen them put on has a "theme" to it, twins, thumpers, etc... but then they always say that all are welcomed...just as long as you're showing up on two wheels, I don't think anyone will be hating :)
 
Cool. There's VVMC ride that rolls through there this weekend too. Wish I could go but I have finals next week so I need to spend the weekend studying.
 
yeah, I wanted to go to that too...but my chick's bday party at my place is this saturday...and I have a feeling I will be in no shape to be on two wheels this sunday :eek:
 
I'm in fountain valley...off of warner and magnolia. I got a couple buddies I ride with from costa mesa too...they have older hondas.

oh, yeah, I guess we did talk about the third sunday thing...but my original post was about the event going on at Deus Ex Machina in Venice on 5-4-13. it's themed for parallel twins, so it caught my eye since I ride a CB350...that's why I got confused when you were talking about not being around on sunday :)

If you guys will be heading up the coast around 9am, the event starts around noon, I'm trying to roughly think when you guys will make it around LAX area. Taking local roads all the way up? Maybe PCH?

If local roads, 70mph and under, I'll try to hang out at a point between, when I see you guys come around, I'll head up with you guys. I've invited some other friends of mine who ride scooters & motorcycles too. I hope it'll be friendly against single cylinder bikes and others. Figure it's always cool to check out other bike meets no matter what.

we'll probably do breakfast, then be in the LAX area around 11am. if you guys want to meet, lets just schedule a time/place. we will be taking PCH the whole way. there is the Otis Art School right there...might be a good place to meet...at say 11am? I would imagine all are welcomed...but I'm sure the scooters will get some looks ;)

can you not do 11am? the event starts at 12noon...and from Otis we still got a little ways to go...that's why I was thinking 11am so we could get there on time?
 
FWIW Otis isnt too far from Deus, but I'd rather meet/leave earlier anyways. Was wondering how long you guys plan on sticking around though?

yeah, not far, but I'm in the same boat...rather get there a little early to have a good place to park the bike. planning to hang for an hour, maybe two...depending on how much there is to look at...bikes/girls, hopefully a decent amount of both. definitely not an all day affair
