So, sort of a hello from somewhere southwest of Pittsburgh

Wolfie

Live to Ride, an all dat stuff!
So, here it is...
May 21, the warm weather has arived...
and...
My 2000 GL1500SEI is in peices, scattered over the floor, waiting to be finished with all new hoses, belts, tensioners, plugs, and wires...
My 1995 Shadow ACE (third time around) project sits, waiting on a few final bugs to be worked out...
My 1972 CB750 sits, waiting for the third Dyna 2000 box to arrive (blew out two because of the bad Dyna Coil that they say don't go bad),
Also having fueling issues with the 29MM CR Carbs...
My 1973 CB750 sits waiting for a rebuild (just bought it)...
My 1977 XLCH hangs on the wall, waiting for the end of time...
And all I have to ride is my semi-rigid frame lowered Suzuki SG500F, which I don't like!
And my wife wants me to do all of the things that never got done while I was on the road driving for the past 8 years....
GEESH!
So hello from Sunny Warm Pittsburgh!

Other than the Shadow, I didn't really take any pictures of any of my builds, but here are a few...
My latest Purchase...

Wow man, that's a heck of a collection.

You said you ride a "semi rigid Suzuki SG500F"? Is that a GS500F?

Shoot... Lots of "projects" there. Welcome to DTT officially. You should sell off one or two of those and use the cash to build up the rest. Or just keep all of them like everyone else here does. Haha...

Yeah,
GS500f
the computer prints faster than I can type..
gs2.jpg

Made this muffler for it, but everytime I get near redline, it launches! Go figure!

And a couple pictures of the wing...

Back when it was brandy new, complete with a Bushtek Genesis Trailer...

After I triked it (due to some health issues, (either trike-it or quit riding))

And... alas.... today...

If anyone is interested in the trike build, or the Shadow build, I won't post it here as neither one have to do with this group's topics,
but the builds can be found on my web (which is slightly out of date)

One can NEVER have too many projects!
The GS has been lowered to where the rear tire rubbed a rather large hole in the inner fender,
so I had to stiffen up the shock to the point where it is now almost a rigid frame.
That will be my next big project, a cafe out of it...

Both of those 750's are beauties. Rest of the collection is nice too. Welcome to the forum.

Thanks!

"Real bikes are built in garages."

I like your tagline! Ain't it the truth!
