Some good Jetting Information Please

Ive been running cheap emgo pods with shorty mufflers on a 71 cb350, and always have problems even after syncing the carbs (Stock) keihin 722a. Ive been hearing that the Emgo are restrictive, so i ordered some K&n 2290s for more airflow. willing to jet up, i have now (slow jet #35, standard #70 and secondary at #110. had them all stock before slow 35 stan 68 and second #105. she still runs to where im afraid of leaving without my tool box. will the k&n help at all with my config?

Im sorry that i forgot to add, Pamco Ign., anti-gravity battery and reg/rectifier upgrade. no problem with electronics. its all with jetting and airflow im sure.
im guessing the responses will be "trail and error with im just sick of doing.
