I'm working on a 82 kz750 four and trying to get thee simplest wiring possible so I can have it running to work out all the bugs and running issues. This is what I have so far. Any input would greatly appreciated. Thanks!

First off I dont see a fuse in there anywhere and the live from the battery direct to the coils makes them live all the time which is not a good idea.
As a minimum you need a fuse after the battery and before the ignition switch which needs to go before the coils and ignitors.

Are you allowed to run without any lights where you are? Also no Kill Switch which is not always necessary but a good safety item.

The ignition needs to be at the red wire coming from the battery. between battery and where all the reds divide sort of speak. That way, iginition lock kills all. Like NotLob said, coils are live all the time now and you'll be able to kick it without key. Furthermore, coils will draw current, killing the battery over time.

rectifier needs ground

rest looks VERY minimal, but ok.

One large terminal of the solenoid goes to the wire to the starter motor.

The other large terminal of the solenoid needs a large gauge wire going right to the + battery terminal. the starter motor is grounded by the case bolted to the motor. the solenoid is a switch, when activated, connected Battery + to Starter Motor +.

The starter has one wire to it. The solenoid switched 12v. The grounding is internal to the starter. No grounding wire necessary.

When its a honda ( i suppose) the solenoid has a yellow/red and a black wire.
Connect the m6 bolts with the battery + and the starter motor wire. When you put a battery on the black and yellow/red wire, it switches the m6 terminals, thus connecting the starter motor with the battery +
