I've said that to myself a couple of times.

I can think of a particular project on here that fits well... cept its been 4 years I think? ::)

I've had my wifes Cafe since Dec 2008 and started building it in ernest March 2009, just the usual stuff getting in the way saving to buy a house, sorting the house then building the workshop but now i'm close to getting back to bikes and I feel like my excitement for it has been massively rekindled ;)

Im approaching the 6 month mark, but in my defense the bikes motor was a rusted solid paperweight before the rebuild, once i get it back its a riding and working on it situation.

I don't mean a short period like six months or even a year. Availability of time and cash tend to be big influences. I mean guys that take years.

For me, they take as long as they take. I did most of my KZ and was riding it in a winter, but I've had my CB350 for three years now and its no where near the finish line. Now I've finished two other bikes in the interim but I'm just taking my time with the 350, gathering some parts, building skills and working out some ideas. I see no need in rushing it and ending up with something I'm not happy with.

Love the cartoon andycafe, I should blow it up for the garage :)
