If you really loved the flowing rhythm of Big Pine, you will LOVE the 11-ish miles of ridgetop riding on OH-78 out of Nelsonville, nonstop sweepers & some twisties all up and down on the ridge top. Instead of nice heavily forested riding between the hills along a creek, you have epic views through the trees looking across the land from a very high ridge, & then 70% through, the trees are cleared out & you have panoramic vista views all directions. Stop at the barn (little white 1 story house next to it, vacant last I was there), you'll know it when you come to it. Best view, then great tight twisty curves descending down after that eastbound. Take 78 to 669 at the river (Muskingum River?), follow 669 north then west (good flowing road, 2 yr old pavement) into Somerset(?), and then take either 668(Big rollercoaster hills!) to the freeway, or follow 204 all the way in to Pickerington.
this could make a really nice loop from Reynoldsburg and Pickerington, as you can take 204E to 664S to 33 to Nelsonville, tgen 78E right on 685 L on 13 R on 78... NICE ride, not too technucal for carrying a passenger, but very fun &scenic

There's really nothing exciting due east or west of us (aside from the CVNP, but i'm assuming the rangers don't take kindly to 80mph down there) but for a nice ride, take 21 south to 585 towards Wooster, then 83 south to Millersburg and Coshocton. Rt 93 is nice down there too. Head over to the area south of Dover on 36 from Coshocton and take 250 south to Wheeling, WV. That's a great ride too. You can actually take 250 north all the way to Sandusky from the Ohio border. I'm trying to work out a day trip to Rt 7, it follows the river south along the Ohio/PA and Ohio/WV border. I've driven it by car, it's a little busy and sort-of a highway but it's pretty scenic.
There's lots of fun roads in Ohio, it's just that all of them are in the SE corner lol.
p.s. if you see a lime green KZ750 zipping about town, thats me haha.
