southern cal, anyone??

Just Back. Great weekend. Fantastic bikes and people. Took a million photos. Got blown away by this one. A replica 1934 Husqvarna 500cc vee twin. The five originals were destroyed in a fire and a Swedish guy made five replicas from the original blueprints! Jeez! Talkabout skill.

Im impressed. It got hot and I got uninterested in taking pictures. I think I photographed five different bikes. You're right about the bikes and people, it was a great event.
 
That wasn't hot. It was warm with a nice gentle breeze to keep it cool. Better not come to El Mirage in July!!! I particularly enjoyed the first sidecar race. A wonderful gathering. I find it difficult to believe that anyone could walk past this stunning pre-war Inter and not take at least five photos.
