Sparck Rec/Reg on Kawasaki Z440

Got the wiring diagram for Kawasaki?
Honda Black matches Kawasaki White
Red is still red on Honda and Kawa
The three left over go to alternator AC outputs, not sure what colour they are on Kaw 440?

LiFEPo isn't a good idea on something like that, you need a system that will charge at idle and has very well controlled regulation.
Sparx is as good as any and way better than some on regulation
Anyway, use yellow's from alternator to yellows on reg/rector, if it's using Honda colours you'll have either pink and Yellow or White and pink on R/R Red on R/R goes direct to battery, Black to any switched circuit (it's the 'sensing' wire to tell reg to charge battery)

Yup. Close to what PJ said.

R/R wires as follows:
Yellow and Pink -> Both yellow wires from alternator. Doesn't matter which is which.
Black -> Power from bike. Usually any brown wire (not the white wire as previously mentioned. White wire is unswitched voltage on the older Kawis).
Red -> Battery + or red/white wire.
Green -> Ground to frame or find a thick black/yellow wire.

The unit should be fine for use with LI-ION and LiFePO4 batteries, but as PJ mentioned, don't let it sit and idle too long if you're not charging at idle. Too much drain on the battery will kill it.

lol, I don't do Kawasaki's very often, knew white was un-switched live, just forgot Kawasaki rarely use red from battery to solenoid then solenoid to switch
Think I'll stick to Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha ;D

I hear that. Aside from HD, Kawi is my least favorite to work on when it comes to electrics.
