Just wondering if someone has replaced there copper spark plug wires and has put it on DTT. Cant find one, but if anyone has anything on it I would appreciated it. Thanks

What bike is it? In most of the old Honda coils the wire can't be replaced you have to get a new coil.

Not true, and it was covered here pretty recently. You can drill into the coil body about a half inch from the wire. that releases it. then you pull it out, stick the new ones in and epoxy up the hole.

Prosimex is right, and that should work if you take your time. I agree that for long-term benefit, a new coil is your best option considering how old it is, but lately, many more parts are being rebuilt instead of just replaced, and coils can be "rebuilt" to an extent, mainly including new wires, but is a PITA for just about any model.

Is there any coils that you can buy that are just coils and not spark plug wires? I tested mine and they worked and I am on a low budget, but could afford like $25 coils. Thanks everyone, I will probably try what ProSimex said, unless its harder than I think. Thanks again.

For a 360? XS650 coils don't generally come with wires - Part #17-6805 from mikesxs.net is where a lot of people get them on here, but they always seem to be sold out...

My coils were fine but the wires were cracked. NGK makes inline splicers that connect right by the coil so you can instal new wires and plug caps. They were easy to install and ive had no problems at all.
