Sprocket Sizing

Been Around the Block
Hello all...So I picked up a 1980 kz440 on the cheap. I removed the stock front and rear wheel/hub set up and replaced the front and rear wheels with a 1979 honda cm400 mag wheel set up. The reason I did this is because I like the look of the mag wheels and the tires that are on the mag set up have fresh rubber on them. The problem I am having is with the sprocket sizes. I went from a 45 tooth sprocket(kawi stock) to a 35 tooth sprocket(honda stock) set up. So I am trying to find info on a 45 tooth sprocket that will fit a 1979 honda cm400 rear hub. Same bolt pattern, pitch etc. The only thing I can think of is buying a blank sprocket and having it machined to my specs...Any info/knowledge would be a huge help...Thanks all!

What are your options for the front? If you go up 2 teeth on the front its equivalent to approx 6 teeth up on the back sprocket. So if you can find a honda sprocket in the 41 /42 tooth range you should be near where you want to be.

One day perhaps someone will submit the KZ400s to that site.
