FYI Walnecks motorcycle swap meet is making a stop in St.Charles this Sunday 12-21-08, heres the info off there website:

"All Swap/Shows will have American, British, Japanese, Euro, Dirt Bikes, parts, used and new, Leather, T-Shirts and all kinds of bikes and what-nots for sale.

Kane County Fairgrounds, Rt. 64 & Randall Rd in St. Charles. Indoors only, no bike show 8-3, $6 adm., $40 booth. Buy last minute Christmas stuff! Walneck's Cycle Trader Magazine given away, too."

Argh, just read about it now. In retrospect I probably wouldn't have gone, the weather kept me cooped up inside.
 
dont be two upset if you missed it, because of the cold weather there were not a whole lot of vendors there, also, the promotion that put this swap meet on holds 4 or 5 more swap meets in illinois throughout the year, so dont beat yourself up if you missed it
 
dude it was AWESOME!!! funny how some of those guys have no idea what they have or what it is worth... cause my brother an i are young they think they can rip us off... then you start talking bike and they realize.... HEY this guy knows his shiz... stupid... great stuff there! did you see the girter wtih the 21 with the drum brake incorp into the hub! with any luck that will be on my bob in the next few months... we will see what he can do on price... love the old school guys that LOVE bikes... my favorite to talk to... that BSA frame by the door is also something i am trying to get my hands on... pretty sick... would have great if i was still building a harley! that was like the MECA of parts! thanks for the tip! please let me know when the next one is... just got a knuckle head in with a high boy frame... going to need ALOT of work

With any luck I will have finished my bike and picked up another project. I am stoked to start another bike and I am not even close to finishing this one. It's a sickness.....
