Starting woes after oil change

ok ill keep it short and to the point. got my 74'cb360 fired up for the first time since i got her. Ran like shit but it still ran. Im running stock airfilters and exhaust, new coils, wires, plugs, starter solenoid oil change and tune up to follow

after oil change and tryed to fire her up after and nothing, wont turn over. lights come on, starter solenoid clicks when i hit the button. checked all the wires it all looks normal (visual and with my meter) tested the battery an i got something like 10.2Volts(kinda low?). I pulled the starter motor last night and brought it in to work with me to do a bench test. and it worked no problem...

question is what am i missing here?

You won't get a 360 to start (even with kicker) on just 10 volts. Charge it up and/or look at a new battery.

yeah battery is basically dead. charge it, and keep it on a tender when not in use. moto batteries can be delicate like that

awesome, will do as soon as i get home. It is a new battery but hasn't been on the tender for about two weeks.

Update: it was the battery after all. Even thou it was only two months old it was a lemon. Would not hold a charge. Took it to a local canadian tire to do a load test, and they confirmed it. I don't know how I missed that, I guess I tend to over think things and never suspected the battery. So anyway I can now get her started with the kick and or the starter button. Now on to tuning and replacing the points

Just as an aside for your future reference, checking a battery with a multi meter is less than helpful. It's possible for a battery to read 12+ volts with no load, and still be too weak to start a bike. When you suspect a battery, load test is the only way to be sure.
