Stock Rockin in OK

Been Around the Block
Hey, guys. I've been browsing around the site the past couple of days. I can't believe I haven't seen it before now. It seems like a really cool community. I look foward to learning from all the experience on here.
I have owned a 1970 Triumph T100R for over 10 years. It's my pride and joy. As you could tell from my post topic it is completely stock. I've done a lot of repairs and tweaks on it in the past years to get it as close to stock as possible and keep it running perfectly. I've never been able to bring myself to modify it. Lately I've been considering mild mods that I could easily return to stock, like clubman bars, rearsets, seat, etc. Give me your input as to whether I should mess with it or spend my time and energy on a seperate project.

Welcome to the site man! It's completely up to you what to do with it, but there is plenty of stuff that you can change and swap back later.

Bike is gorgeous BTW!

Hey man,
I'm building a CB360 cafe and I'm out of OK, too. Your bike is absolutely stunning, with as cheap as cafe bikes can be, I'd go for a separate project.

I'm 30 minutes south of Tulsa, whereabouts are you?

Thanks for the kind words, fellas.

Ninetyeight, I'm in Norman. Are there many guys riding cafes up your way? It seems a vintage cafe bike is a rare sight in Oklahoma.

I wouldn't do anything to that bike that I couldn't undo, it's beautiful just like it is.

There are a few of us here in OK into vintage bikes and cafe racers. You can find some of us here:

I've managed to meet and ride with quite a few people from this group, both of you should join.

Greetings to folks from my home state :) I'm about a mile over the AR line on hwy 412.
I would leave that Triumph as is, and start a build on a ragged-out one. That way you always have a bike running, and people can see how far your build has come from stock. Besides more is always better. ;D
Oh Yeah...Love that bike, B E A U T I F U L
