Stuff I REALLY LIKE lately...

Aetsh

Coast to Coast
Post up what gets your stoked, and why you pull yourself out of bed in the morning!

-Riding backroads with my friends

-Playing with my new welder, even if it is a cheap piece of shit

-Air conditioning lol

-Getting a WHOLE WEEK off for Troy's GTG

-Thinking of painting my honda...GOD I hate maroon! ;D

-Dreaming of the day I get my own house and garage..Hanging out at Rich's garage is only making this need worse :'( :'(

Z1 Enterprises having my throttle cables in stock when all the shops here where back ordered, shipping them the same day I ordered and having them arrive today so I can get them in the bike in time to go to Troy's. Yes! The Motion Pro cables look identical to OEM Honda (Which Honda does not make anymore).

getting to fab parts

riding the cb with new people/friends

motorcycle camping with my dad and best buddy

playing with my little girl

7 month leave of absence starting in September. No more waking up at 5:30 for work.

Looking like a fool on the cbr125

Having a package in the mail when you get home and you just KNOW it's gotta be parts. ;D

The smile my daughter gives me as soon as I get home from work.

The hug and kiss my wife gives me when I get home from work.

The time in my shed with my 360 away from said wife and daughter.

DTT and riding with members from DTT.

My wife, unborn daughter, and dog.

My garage (sorry Shaun, had to rub it in!)

And oddly enough, listening to JRK when he talks about stuff he DOESN'T like! :D

- being able to kick over the RD
- kanti's accent
- coming home to packages (yay new parts!)
- the moment you figure out what was making your bike not run/not run right, and being able to fix it
- shopping sprees.. clothes or parts..
- sex (just sayin'..)
- choco tacos

I like high firm boobies, sunny days and pretty girls in wispy sundresses.....
And Bushmills Black, the pop of high compression piston out a free flowing exhaust, freshly scrubbed tires on perfect twisty pavement and my girl Miss Kitty.

and listening to Joe talk about what pisses him off!

im with go! on the sex...

other things...

hanging out with AD Pete in a custom audio shop for extremely expensive cars (working on a cb450 next to a brand spankin new boxster spyder was AWESOME)

getting free wire for my ride...

getting NOS redwing shocks for my ride...

getting free leather off a lambo for my ride...

(all of that thanks to Pete again =D)

leaving to malta for a month tomorrow (ill still post to DTT when possible!)

realizing my bike is almost at the rebuild/paint stage

my brothas here at DTT just cuz you guys are my family. ;D

Food, always good food.
Conquering a pain in the arse stumbling block on the bike building path.
Welding and fibreglassing stuff.... i'm hooked on glassing now.
Realising after many many years of not drawing or painting a thing, that if i pick up a pencil and just draw, i still love it and can still do it.
Good company, DTT included.
A good days riding, and man i miss it. Gotta get this bike finished...

I really like the essence of a thick english tobacco smoldering merrily away in the bowl of a handmade italian briar pipe as wisps of fragrant smoke mingle in the air with the dulcet tones of Miles Davis or the simple aquatic rhythms and chords of Link Wray's Rumble.

Then there is the realization that seizes me in that moment as the sun sets through the west facing windows of the garage masking the growing piles of finished parts. That realization that all that I can control in this universe are my decisions, and from those come actions that have been used to attempt understand and create.

Finally the hope that comes from that epiphany, because as advanced as we think we have become we are unable to mar the incalculable framework behind it all.

I ponder the creation that grows before me and attempt to calculate the probability of the unseen design. If there is an ultimate being, sitting here in this moment I feel as if I can glimpse his mind. Is the same drive to make all of existence now scratching away though me, as an intensely flawed tool, at this rusted hunk of 750. Are we naught more than the fulfillment of the universe's will to tinker in a vain attempt to assign meaning to itself, as this machine evolves to show a hint of the creator within?

Deus ex machina?
