Whew! What a day... finally got back to the computer.
Looks like everyone beat me home
Scarcat's issues on the return leg that caused us to slow down were the same ones he had on the way in... but the fix was insane... you shoulda been there... I wish I had a camera with me... He fixed his bike while rolling down the QEW at 100+kph in the middle or right lane (depending on when lanes ended) for like 10 km or more... checking for spark, and fuel, and carbs... I hardly believe it, and I was there! And amazingly he was so steady on the throttle it was like running on cruise control the entire time... mad skillz yo!
The whole gas episode was rather entertaining as well... after the fact.
Our amateur siphon was pretty damn McGuyver if I do say so myself! Amazing what you can do with a pocket knife and some trash.
Scarcat... btw... what's your facebook.. the link in the facebook thread don't work for me.
Hawkgirl... am I really that unmemorable? *sniff* now you've gone and hurt my feelings! I'll echo scarcat though and agree that you were a great ride leader... I'll chase you through the twisties anytime
Next time we need more peeps! Imagine the ruckus we'd create if the lot of us were rolling together. I mean, if the 4 of us got that much attention today, well.... just think about it.
Other than that, all the zombies and ghouls walking around downtown was one of the strangest sights I've ever seen... There must have been hundreds of them, eh Scarcat? Oh, and what about that Ferrari.. the one with the turnouts that we tried to steal just for Noel. BTW Noel... your bike is too quiet. Actually, after riding behind Scarcat all day, everything is too quiet... What? Speak up sonny, I can't hear you!
Har... ok. I guess I've lost the opportunity for my beauty sleep... Time to get me ready for work...
