Suzuki GR650 exhaust and pipes.

Hello guys.
I'm new here so be gentle. I just bought a GR650 and it turns out there was a hole in the pipe and was looking at either getting a new exhaust for the GR650 (which I'm unable to find) or if anyone knew any other pipes (from other bikes or aftermarket) that would work with the GR650.

hiya skitch, only been on here a while myself but they seem to treat us newbies ok,
just had a look on ebay and there appears to be several sets, prices go from $50-150 but what about custom pipes? are your pipes suffering from holes in the mufflers or the headers themselves? if its just the mufflers, cut the old ones off and get a pair of aftermarket custom ones, theres a million out there.
if costs not a huge issue, see whats available locally in the way of full custom builds, go real silly

Yea the hole is actually in the header :-\
The ones i see on ebay are also really scratched up. I was just wondering if anyone knew if there are substitutes, like maybe a Yamaha XS650? or any other parallel twin?

thought about other bikes but most other twins are physically wider or, in the case of xs650s, the headers come out on an odd angle. also i don't think suzuki used that engine in anything else which would have made life easier

you could try getting the holes welded up? or even easier wrap soft drink can round the holes, then hold that on with very thin wire followed by exhaust heat wrap, no-one'll ever see the holes that way heeheeheehee
