Swivels recommendation on Rear sets

In my private messages from Swivel:

"Why have you got the levers on the rearsets so low that they won't actually work right? Too much laptop gazing?"

Yes. You've figured out I don't know how to adjust rearsets. I spent hours on my laptop admiring your craftmanhip and motorcycle builds...oh, wait a minute. Show me one of your builds with rear set install and I'll take some notes. BTW, those are, of course, loosely bolted in place and I designed and welded the mounts to allow for vertical adjustment along with adjustable shift and brake lever placement.
 
Swivel gave me lots of good advise during my build. He can be a bit harsh but I think he means well.

He can "mean well" all he wants, but with his "laptop gazing" comment, I doubt thats actually the case. If he meant well he would have said something like "hey, I'm not sure if you're finished with your bike, but i noticed your shift lever looks too low, you might want to adjust it up an inch so its usable." So, until I see something he's built I'll print his "recommendations" on toilet paper so I'll have some use for them.
 
Don't worry about that troll. Build what fits you the best and use the ignore feature to your fullest advantage.

You know the wors part though? I read about Swig being a prick. I respond telling him to shut up. I feel better, some folks get a laugh, and that's the end of it. Or is it?
