well fellas here she is! I put on 35 miles this weekend between rain and working in the shop. i still need to adjust some things, put the padding on the seat... and i really want to dial her in, but hell she handles AMAZING, and really pulls off the line. Oil cooler worked great, and boy does she turn some heads. it is loud but sound very cool.
I still have to put on the seat pad, do final tune, i am going to shave the shifter spine linkage so that it does not rub the oil line, redo the rear brake linkage... then she is all done!
(the seat has tape on it, to protect the paint while i am waiting on my padding to come in.. it is not dull that is just the tape on there)

I am a big fan of giving ups to people that helped me with the build

Team tech - my machinist company... had to give some props for all his help
GMJ distibuters - my dads, brother, and my company... both my brother and dad where a HUGE help
dotheton - LOTS OF HELP ON HERE
Highvoltage- made my original wire harness that did not work and i had to cut it all up and make my own
the powder pro - Sean and i have since partnered up and now i am the powder pro!
GH industries - Gary made all the decals you see on the bike! I can not speak high enough about his work! some of the best vinyal work i have ever seen!
Half Fast Chicago - local bike club that really helped me out when i got stuck, huge shot out to danny that got me rolling ont he wiring after being stuck for so long!!!

Joe, that's a sweet build. I am not too fond of white bikes but man she looks nice. can't wait to see the seat done. Any more shots? I'd like to see the front, the back, fromt he top, etc. I like to apreciate the deatil. It gives me inspiration.

ill do some, i am going to finish up the seat... then do a little photo shoot... get the wifey in something trashy and have her freeze her tail off over the seat of the cafe in our awesome fall chicago weather! ha ha ha Chris has me jelous with his photo skills... we will see what happens!

sweet! cant wait to check it out, even though the sound on the video is probably a bit distorted, I like waht I can hear. Oh and I got your VM, Id def like get some quick lessons on the lil bike that you picked up. Its supposed to be nice this week, so Ill give you a call.

btw on the photography, check out your first two pics. Its a perfect example of what backlighting does to a shot. You see how in the first shot which is lit from the front quarter everything looks dull and washed out, the colors look faded. Then in the second shot everything is vibrant and the shadows in the foreground really make the subject matter pop. Also a tripod can work wonders

you can come by and ill teach ya to ride the scoot and then snap some pics...

That's Awesome! Great work! Not sure if it's the camera or not, but it sure sounds "throaty". And when you get on it, that front tire looks humongous! Looks great.

Nice, I know you been itchn' to ride that and finally done! Looks good, have to listen to the sound at home, no speakers at work. How cold is it there right now. It was -4 here this morning and it was a bitch to get the GL1000 started to ride to work.

-4!!!!!!!!!!!! wow we are not even close to that! still in the 30's here. I worked last night in the shop with the garage door open all night, i my carhart flannel and was just fine.... -4, that is nuts!
My buddy is coming out this weekend to run a T-valve on my gas line so i will have direct heat in the shop this winter!!! so stoked!

JRK, just to clarify, -4 celcius, or 24 F. Canucks use Celcius. -4 F would be impossible to get the bike started outdoors. I wish I had a garage because it would make starting the bike in the morning easier. Will be nice to have a heated shop for sure, there will be no excuses, you will have to get all you projects done this winter.

well guys i need some help! the bare tank is driving me nuts! but i can not just put anyting on there... i talked to Danny and he sugested that i do the tuning forks... i like that idea... but i have been hunting the vintage badging pics online and i have to be honest... i am really feelling the caddy V., so if i combine the 2 what do you think?

Just done in paint but it helps to visualize. I likethe tuning fork alone. ties in with the one on you calipers.
