Shift side of the bike, kick starter pivot interference with the heim joint and linkage if I rotate the shift lever (piece remaining in the spline shaft) to the back - behind the kicker and due to the length of the lever the range of motion at the peg is too much... if I run the lever in front of the shaft I will have to bend the linkage approximately 30 degrees to clear under the kicker.. But will have no interference and a shorter range of motion with a shorter lever on the spline shaft... Will the bend cause any issues? 5/16 round stock... I could put a tiny gusset / brace on it at the bend... Running stock exhaust right now as we'll... Will put up some clarifying pictures tonight...
