How can this be done without damaging. Looking for all insight.

Wondering the same thing. My Yami's is screwed on (VERY LIGHTLY...apparently...). But the Honda looks like it almost has an adhesive behind the badge.

It has either screws or mini spring clips.
Nylon trim removal tool will pry them off.
I don't remember any being glued on

i guess its the spring clips version. just pry and use new rings when putting them back on.
