Nice looking seat and tank combo.. how did you mount the seat? i'm struggling with how to mount my fiberglass seat to the frame, got any pics of the mounts?

thx.

I havent actualy worked out how I want to attach the seat to the bike yet, I just finished my seat pan, so I am trying to decided how to put it all together. here is where I am at with the bike and the seat pan.

You should blur the license on your car if your going to keep that picture up.
Do you duct tape over your plate when you drive? Anybody on the road can see his plate. The internet's no different. I chuckle when I see people blurring their plates.

and here i was all excited that somebody commented on my bikes progress and its just a nit pick about my licence plate showing. psh. :/ lol thanks for the advice but i am not super worried about my plate showing.

haha i actually went to a few paint shops today to look at colors. and have a new set of clip ons on there now. i am waiting on the dungramk cb360 rearsets to be done. thanks guys

well i tried my hand and sewing up a seat cover for the first time. i just cut up an old pair of jeans for the material and used 3 layers of carpet padding for the seat foam. it is serriously the most comfortable seat i have ever sat on. got that tip from crazy pj of another thread. anyway. i am not gonna be keeping this seat cover i just did it as practice so when i do the real thing out of vinyl or leather i wont screw up the expencive stuff. (fingers crossed). i also wanted to get a vissual of what the bike would look like with the seat padded it looks a little lumpy because it is just being held in place by hot glue and i didnt even bother tucking it all in. but i thought it came out kind cool looking for what it is.

sewed up my own seat cover. i am not going to lie, even though it is not perfect, i am pretty stoked that i made everything on this seat by hand. the seat, seat pan, carved the foam, sewed the cover. i need to tweak a few little things but this is about how its gonna look minus the paint. it also happens to be REALLY comfortable. 3 layers of carpet padding! thanks for the tip pj.
