Don't see these often, if at all. Might be the only one for sale at the moment pretty much anywhere from what I can tell. Full bolt-on turbo kit for a Honda CB750. Was mounted to a 1975 CB750F by the original owner, apparantly installed way way back in 1976 or so. I bought the bike from a friend of the original owner, and took this off. Only 18,000 miles on the clock of the bike, again, from the original owner.
-Complete with the special exaust header to bring the exhaust around the engine to drive the turbo
-The Rajay Turbo itself with a single Zenith carb/airfilter bolted on
-Massive single exaust pipe that bolts to the Rajay Turbo
-ATP cast aluminum intake manifold to feed the single carb's boosted output to the four cylinders
-Boost gauge mounted in bracket to bolt to handlebar clamps
-Various oil hoses
-Variable speed electric fuel pump to feed the hungry carb
-Clutch cover tapped for the oil supply to the turbo (not shown in pics)
All in all in great shape - turbine turns nicely. When it was on the bike I was able to see and hear the fuel pump work. Every twist of the throttle when the battery was in resulted in a little squirt of fuel injected into the carb.
I did not attempt to fire up the bike when I bought it so I have not heard the turbo kit run. I can only imagine just how wild it would sound. With a little cleaning up, this thing will be gorgeous on any bike.
Here are the pics, including some when it was installed on the bike.
