Honda Fanatic
Hi everyone,

My name is Jonathan and I am pleased to be accepted into the Forums and begin my higher learning from what I can see are a bunch of great people that are just as motor crazy and speed addicted as I am ;)

I grew up Building Hondas. I had to learn everything Myself. Growing up Down South, if it was a V8 is wasn't a car. I have always (BEFORE IT WAS COOL) have been addicted to Hondas. Back to the FF SQUAD Days before 2000, I built my first Honda (All motor, STRICTLY bolt on B16B straight from Japan. I have been obsessed with Honda since I was a little boy. I grew up in a home with an Israeli father who is Obsessive Compulsive about everything, but a love obsession with Honda, LOL. I collect anything and everything Honda, so to no wonder after 13 Hondas before I was 25, I had to find a Honda Motorcycle. I have owned several Bikes but never been satisfied. my first bike was a New 2004 R6. I hated it. It was too much to enjoy for me. I built two Sportsters in the last couple of years. I was never satisfied. I just could not find my Niche. A couple of Weeks ago I purchased My first Honda Motorcycle.
1974 Honda CB360T with 3200 Original Miles, One Owner with all service records and all original parts saved in boxes.
My plans are not elaborate yet. I have to say I am very impressed with all of your builds and plan to dissect everyones builds and take things that I admire and build on them. I have always had a very detailed, Plain and simple eye for form and very simple Function.
I dont like any frills. I like for things to be built specifically by me and for me. I don't understand things that don't pursue function. There is no reason to me why something should not tailored to fit YOU. This bike will be Comfortable, Suspension will be tight and responsive, power will be simple and purely bolt on, and the power band will be broad and quick. I look forward to studying everyones bikes and needs and modifications and learning what will suit me and my tastes, so thanks in advance for the inspiration.

Cheers,
Jonathan

haha kinda sounds like my situation, my dad is a mechanic for John Deere but is in love with honda motors. He has raised me on hondas and grew up with them himself. He owned them as farm bikes when he was a kid several cub 50's and CT90s and ever since I grew up He's bought me several XR100's CR80's and I remember when I just learned to ride we would drive a 305 dream around the yard!

Nice to have Jonathan! This is the place to pick brains, sort thru other builds. Somehow Honda's find me. But glad you joined DTT.

Thanks for making me feel at home. I am definitely going to need the help and will have plenty of (searched) questions. lol
