And Joe, the faux tank looks like ass at the moment, Burgandy/brown sanded to the OEM black primer with streaks of the white base showing through, Once I prime it I'll set it on and get a pic. Thinking a paint job similar to these I saw on e-bay a while back except purple and black... Shoulda bought them but his starting price was more than a used GL costs!

ha ha ha i know that feeling, we took my brothers G wing out last night for the first "on the road" ride... was AWESOME to be out on the bikes with my brother again... dont get me wrong he still has the chopper but it was nice to have the bags and crap, everywhere we went people where taking pics of the bike, was awesome! did have some issues., posted those on NGW for some help.
i am a huge fan of this exhaust set up, i have a few sporty mufflers and my just do the same, looks so clean! let me know if oyu need any other plastics bud i have fiaring pieces and what not, but i doubt you are going to use any of that

HA HA... thanks for the offer Joe but... uhm... Here was mine from when I bought her and the "old BattleAxe" parts bike
Going to post a "help wanted" thread to see if there are any graphics guys aroung will to print this for me, one reversed.
I think it fits the "Full Figured Fighter" image well

Oh man... you are right, it will fill the contour well. I bought mine from cycle-X and used it for the pattern when I made the seat

Been hard at it. carbs are bench synced and installed... Really starting to get excited to hear this thing run.

Update: Been running cables, hoses, and connecting wiring... nothing picture worthy but all the little nessesities to get me that much closer. ;D

Just for that.. and Joe wanting me to get some pics of the lines... and BigR liking my idea for the emblem at 6:00am one day. I decided to put it all together for the first time to see what I got... even if it is in primer. :
This is what I envision people will see when they walk up to the bike and say “WTF is THAT!?”
Here you can get an idea of the Broomstix angle of attack… and the only “Honda” Logo on the entire bike is on the brake splitter cover, wanna keep them guessing!
My own personal touch, little tongue on cheek play on emblems, still needs detailing but you get the point.

I just want to share - I saw an old Goldy today. Except it was converted to a trike. I talked to the owner hoping he had done the conversion work himself....... nope. But the motor reminded me of yours right away. Wish i would've snapped a pic of it.

Thanks guys, Going a purple with black around the accent reliefs, maybe a thin silver pinstripe at the seam. Similar to what I had mocked up earlier but not so bold as it was in the black-n-white rendering.
Drilled and tapped the rear holes in the frame horns with a 10mm x 1.25 tap to screw in my Dime City turn signals. The studs were long enough to attach the tail light bracket to and then the mounting nut that came with them...
