That's super-cool, but I was looking for a generation by generation breakdown. I'm super-impressed that you were able to dig that up. Wikipedia sure does wonders. I'll look at it when I get off work.

Why are you being an ass?

It's a bit long

I'll read it when I get home. I like statistics.

What exactly is asinine about requesting detailed information regarding a topic I would mind learning more about. I know our adult population is getting fatter on average now. But I'm also aware that people live longer now too. What I was wondering was more or less, " what was gen x's average obesity rate at age 20-25 vs. Gen y's. And so on.

I feel like you could have asked me to expound on my interest in the topic a little better than you did.

Your reply to Sonreir seemed to be snippy and rude for absolutly no reason. If I'm wrong, so be it. I'll say I'm sorry and crawl back into my hole.

It wasn't intended as a curt response. I just don't bother proof reading what I write while I'm at work.

IAMBLAMB, if you're going to make everybody grumpy, at least have the decency to do it with a funny accent over the phone.

Press 1 for IAMBLAMB
Press 2 for a fat American male from the 50's
Press 3 for a nice cold beer
Press 4 for a rude telemarketer to tell you that even though we're out of beer, if you would be so kind as to send the Sultan of Nigeria's housekeeper $3000 via Paypal, she will be sure to tune your carburetors just the way you like them.

Lol. Not a bad idea, I could impersonate the French guy from Monty python.

I was gonna throw in a comment about the Ministry of Funny Walks, but I figured noone would go for 5 buttons ;D

I think that it was you who make a blanket statement, then challenged others to disprove your statement, which you stated as fact but was really just an opinion.

If you are going to makes statements as fact, be prepared to back those statements up, not challenge others to research the veracity of what you say. The burden of supporting your statements is up to YOU.

What blanket statement did I make?

I believe he's referring to people being generally healthier and not as fat as they used to be.

Oh, makes me grumpy: Installing 30-series, 11-inch wide tires on 20-inch rims. What a PITA! Especially when the vehicle has Tire Pressure Monitors in the valve stems that the client won't pay to replace. Those little bastards corrode and break as soon as you try and remove them and it's virtually impossible to get those blasted tires off without smashing them. GRR
