Timing my cb360 and found something ALARMING

I took off the cover to expose the bolt to rotate the motor counter clockwise and found 1 medium size ball bearing I would say about 1/16 of inch in diameter. Where could of this came from? I went ahead and started it and it runs like a champ. Should I be scared to ride.

Is the ball bearing still present in your clutch actuator?

Isn't the bearing in the actuator closer to a 1/4" on that?

5/16 #10 bearing in the clutch , you are talking about the stator cover & bolt in the crank. correct? sorry, I have no idea. others will know.

#4 maybe ? But they look bigger than 1/16

That look like them. Maybe they are a little bigger then a 1/16th closer to an 1/8th. I wonder if I can pull that off and re-grease it?

If a ball has fallen out of the bearing... You NEED to replace the bearing.

Honestly don't think a ball can fall out of one of those crank bearings. Never did understand how they put those together
