Tiny battery recomendations needed!!

Floegstad

between 8.30 and half past eight works well for me
I have been searching the interweb to get some spec on the starter on my gs 400,but with no luck :-[
So i figured there most be someone here who knows the smallest battery that will pull my starter.
What`s the best solution, need one positioned how ever i want???
Thanx in advance Jorgen

Id look at Ballistic batteries. Got one for my goldwing bobber and ironhead. Love em.

Anti-Gravity batteries are smaller and have good reviews.

Any recomendations on brand/models? ???
Found this one with the measurements: 4.2"L x 2.2W x 3.75 Tall
Would 8 cells do the trick?

I have a 4 cell antigravity battery with charger if you are interested. It's in GREAT condition and I used it for my 360 with no issues

Would that have the power to pull my starter i might be interested, just have to check up on shipping over seas!

The website says its good for custom applications up to 350cc's but track bikes up to 600. I chose this battery because I was running kick only. Do you know the factory battery specs for your bike? That would be a better comparison.

What's the Ah rating on the 8 cell?
I doubt the 4 cell is enough to run the starter for more than a second or two.

I've used the 4 cell in a GS400 with electric start. It must be in good running order. You have about 3 or 4 attempts at starting before it runs down. It will work if you keep the running and charging system in good order though.

The 8 cell is 9amph.
When using these batteries will that require a whole lot of other electrical modifications to??

I updated my regulator/rectifier combo
Thanx for the info Finnigan.
I`m used to prince of darkness (lucas) and racebikes.
I hate wiring and electronics in general.
I`m having serious thougts about removing the starter (again)
And if possible ditch the whole battery if i can do so.....

No problem, if you end up wanting to go with a battery I'll throw in the Reg/Rect that I used since I don't have any use for it anymore
