Tire Sizing kz440

Hey guys and gals...got a quick question. I am searching for a matching set of dual sport tires to put on my kz440. I've been looking at IRC's. The problem is I am having a hard time finding a front tire. I want the front to be 3.5/18 and the rear 4.0/18. I find the size I need for the rear, but cant find the size for the front. The fronts tend to be all too small or too big (17or21) My question is.... can I mount a rear tire to the front wheel? I know their is a difference between front and rear tires as far as weight load/performance goes...any help would be great! Thanks!

Try looking for a 90/90-18 for the front and a 100/90-18 for the rear.
The metric sizing is MUCH more popular nowadays. This will probably yield you much better results.

Looking for dual sport tires, huh? The 18" front is tough to find. Check out tires from Shinko, Kenda, and I believe GPC (or is it GRC)?
