Hi all you Ton Up peeps. Been riding since I was too young and going too fast for too long. Must be in the breeding line somewhere. Just got a new project that I haven't had the time to take any serious pics but will do so asap. Frame off 1977 cb550F supersport. Good motor with good compression, frame has been bead blasted to bare metal and powder-coated black with a custom oil slick cinammon red paint on top. New fenders, new wheels and spokes that are powder=coated black. Tail chopped off and ready for a bobber look but I'm not into bob's all that much so I'm looking to do a full on cafe rebuild with all new race components. Got some questions for youse guys 'bout building a cafe cuz I usually ride a '04 Ducati ST4s around town and this is my first cafe build. For that matter it's my first build period! I'm doing this in order to see if the local Ton Up club will accept my ragged ass. So this build-yer-own is all news to me. I have most of the original pieces but they look like it too and I want new stuff on this bike for many reasons. I do have a coupla pics that the guy I bought the bike from posted on CL.
So, as you can see where he took it....uh, with the ape hangers...it's a start to something. I just don't know what at this time.
