Ton-Up Ypsi June 30 2012, Who's going?

2 years ago it was a huge event. Mostly Park and talk, but with Vendors, music, lots of sweet bikes. I set up there Last year and since it was rescheduled into late september and was pretty small. Should be a big deal again this year.
 
Didn't it rain out last year? I will try to go. If anyone would like to ride let me know. I live in the area and could map out a ride for us. Maybe meet at the event or close by and ride out to the Pinckney area and back?
 
It is official. My buddy and I are Riding out Saturday morning from Royal Oak/Troy. If anyone wants to ride with us they are more than welcome. we will be taking 12 mile RD to Beck RD the to U.S. 12. Its a very simple route that avoids the Highways. Its basically a straight shot there.

Sounds good man. How does meeting up at Beaumont Hospital sound? I know there is still some time before the event, but here is my number two four eight 635784. call or text me if your plans change and you cannot make it. Im not exactly sure of what time we are going to leave, but im thinking 11:30 is good.
 
I'll plan on meeting up too. I am having a seat issue though- someone snagged my cushion or it flew away. The velcro was giving up since I washed the bike and it was really windy the other day.... Anyways, I'll fashion something....

Oh, I'll have a 1974 CB360T, orange and black.

Believe it or not i may have a solution for you! The LAME/CHEAP* POS cowl wannabe cafe racer seat the previous owner had on my bike has a Velcro cushion.... *note it is crappy because it is junk. i love cafe bikes and the style, but this seat just sucks.

I would like to meet up with you all as well, I will be coming from Battle Creek. What town Are you guys meeting in?
 
I'm hoping to be there on my 160 (shown in my avatar pic). I have something else going on in the evening though so it'll be an afternoon thing for me. Haven't decided on a route yet but from Dexter it's not exactly a long haul! This also assumes the 160 still runs, I haven't had it out since last October. If it is acting up I'll ride something else I guess!

Sorry man.... we are meeting up in Royal Oak, MI, so you would actually pass Ypsi in order to ride with us....
 
My Dad and I will be there over in the swap meet area. We'll have a CB550SC and a CB650SC Nighthawk for sale, along with a titled 1972 CB350 frame, disassembled CB350 motor, and lots of other CB350 parts.

Look for the bright blue Dodge pickup truck, or the flat black and bright yellow Nighthawks...I hope to meet some of you folks there!
 
Defiantly looking forward to this event....... I will be working/volunteering as well! If any of you would like to volunteer as well send Cafe Ypsi a Facebook message.... did i mention: YOU GET A FREE T-SHIRT! for volunteer work.
 
I'm still hoping to get there. Now I've got a couple issues with my bike. I posted the problems a little while ago and will hopefully get some thoughts from others on what to do. Hope to meet some of you there.
 
Looks like rain!

Partly cloudy with a chance of a thunderstorm and a chance of rain. High of 97F. Winds from the West at 5 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 40%.

I may have to check if the bike fits in back of the Dodge Caravan.....

its suppose to rain for 1 hour around 4pm. Same as the weather has been hott sunny and a small storm late in the day. If we leave at the agreed time we will be safe. Its to hot to rain during mid day
