Tool Boxes?

HF air tools rock as well man! i have them at home and in the shop... just saying if your looking to spend more $ that is one of the good products they sell

If you happen to find a kennedy rolling box, they are awesome. I use a 7 drawer at work with friction drawers, and its been great for the last 9 years. Plus the brown wrinkle finish is nice too. I have a craftsman chest at home on a bench, and don't use it much, but the lid has been sprung for years. They just don't hold up anymore. I do know a guy with a gigantic kennedy rolling center with travis pastrana dirtbike graphics all over it for 3k if you are interested. Otherwise, love kennedy boxes, and peg board rocks too.

+1 on this... quality is damn good on their pneumatic stuff. I have a die grinder as well as a small air cut off saw from them. will soon be picking up a pneumatic filer when I can justify the cost. also their media blaster is pretty decent for the cost; well made.

no matter WHAT box you have though, one rule follows; have one place for everything, and put it right back in that place as soon as your done using the tool.

use whatever method you like best... some people like pegboard, while others like other methods. me personally I like the fitted foam around the tools, even though its time consuming to make. if you go that route though you need to make sure you have everything where you want it from the start; peg board has MUCH more movability.

Another option for drawer lining is the outdoor carpet they sell at Lowes or home depot in the 3ft rolls. It really cuts down on drawer noise when opening or closing. Its what I use at work, but I might would use foam at home since id go thru tools a lot a lot less there.

rocan... you foam around your tools! no wonder it takes you 2 years to build a bike it must take forever to get tools out!!! i use my tools and flumbling around foam holders to get them out woudl drive me bonkers!!!! peg board has stays that hold the hook in place so it does not fall out every tiem you remove a tool, or tape them on there (wht i do on my wrenches)

*just busting balls Rocan

leave a little cutout in the top right of each tool... no issue pulling them out, but I don't work with gloves so results may vary for others.

no, it takes me forever to build my bike because I have absolutely NO idea what I'm doing and am a very dumb teenager :)
