Another unfinished project. Probably has been passed around a few times. Nobody believes in commitment anymore.

A buddy brought it to me to fix up for him and then he decided to just buy a running bike. I don't need this bike at all. It has mostly everything with the exception of the seat and exhaust.
The wheels and front end are from a 80 Honda Hawk.
Doesn't need all that much work to finish.

you know Dr J the 70's were the begining of the disposable era. Shame If I was closer I would snap that up finish it and resell it could be really nice.

its miising quite a few parts...sooo im on the hunt to find corect parts. im also tearing it right down to do a full engine rebuild.im aiming for next summer to have it road ready 8)

If you plan on a full engine rebuild, you should grab a set of oversize pistons/rings etc. on eBay.

I've bought 2 sets of these from this seller - the pistons are made by ART, the same manufacturer as the pistons in your bike now. This kit is cheaper than buying new rings for your bike from Honda or anywhere else for that matter. The extra cost will be in boring vs. just honing the cylinders. Probably an extra $30 per hole, so a total of $120 extra, but you get fresh pistons etc. and a head gasket to boot!
