Tracy Body...Opinions

you can not put a flake in cans, the nozel on the can will clog, when i shoot flake i use my guns and shoot at 25-30 psi. you need less air so the flake will stick smooth and not bouce off as it is heavier than the paint. Rule to use when you are shooting smaller stuff like bikes is 12oz of clear to 1 oz of flake. I like to shoot house of color flake and House of Kolor Flo-Klear over it. great paint to work with but PPG has a great line up as well. Just in my personal opinion stay away from dupont, i have neverhad good luck shooting flake with dupont clear, do not know why... just never laid right
there are a bunch of great how-to's online... one thing i will warn you, once you shoot flake out of a gun... that gun is forever a flake gun, i have one that i use just for flakes

I would sell the kz650 (since I don't have a 650) for what I paid. 225. +whatever ship cost. send an address if interested, and I'll check.

At the moment I've got to much coin going into a 650 project I started.
Shipping would cost a fair bit as the box and weight are not small.
Go for it Drew.

anyone interested in the 650 body, FYI,, I'm in Indianapolis but will visit Detroit around Jan 2 for the motorcycle show

i don't feel hijacked at all. i was curious what the DTTers had to say about Tracys, and as always, learned something new
