Greg (Rat400F) and I took the 11am ferry to Bremberton this morning - it was absolutely gorgeous. Ate tacos at Loco Taco Baja, rode north towards kingston when Greg's bike blew a fuse, and some dude in a tan Chevy Caprice with DIRTY in big block letters on the rear bumper turned up, gave us a 20amp fuse and a screwdriver and crescent wrench so we could get Greg's seat off (and insisted we keep them). Rode north up to Poulsbo, then took the road south where we should have gone north and ended up crossing Agate Pass and hitting the south end of Baimbridge to take the ferry back.
As usual the bikes were total magnets (alas, of the dude variety, not the chick variety...) Greg had a bunch of harley dudes oggling his 400F, and a pretty solid stream of people came up to us while waiting for the ferry.
Gorgeous weather, some good curvy roads, and spectacular views of the mountains and puget sound were had. Good times. We're going to try to get out every Sunday if we can, the rest of you yokels should join us!
That's funny that you noticed the "DIRTY" sticker on that guys bumper too. His comment about the passing girls that said "hi" was pretty funny.
Yeah, great day. Other locals need to join up for Sunday rides!
