Triple Cafe Racer

My Yamaha XS750 build. Started with a non-running, non-rolling yamaha. Clubman bars, dirt bike throttle, removed tach, turn signals. Welded part of a tank on the seat pan, chopped the front fender. Still need to smooth out the seat, bondo, paint, and make a seat cushion.

Very nice sir! I love the flow of the tank to the tail. You should go start a big arse projects thread on this beauty so that we can all watch the progress.

Nice! got a pair of xs850s myself. That's a good starting point. ditch that centerstand and get a 3-1 exhaust! is that tail made from a gas tank?

I kinda like the centerstand. I can pack more bikes in my garage that way. The tail is a chinese knockoff Honda tank, cut and welded to the pan. As far as the exhaust, if I can find one cheap, maybe. I want to get the whole bike done for $1000. I'm at $750, including buying the bike, but it needs 2 tires.

Great looking bike. My nephew just bought a '77 XS750 that he's cafe'ing. He has 3-into-1 exhaust on his and retained the centerstand since the pipe is on the right. Have you found a trick to putting it on the centerstand by yourself? It took two of us each time. :-[
