Hey, guys limited budget, looking for my first build. I have a fair amount of mechanic tools and knowledge. looking to build a project cafe racer, I plan on it taking a year or two or what not I'm, not inpatient other then I'd like to get started and like some advice from you guys on these possible donor bikes. The triumph is that a triumph I have no experience with them and would have to do a ton of research to put it back together to even get it running before modding, BUT it's a triumph! 70's guy doesn't know year and is kinda sketchy on model possible tiger or bonneville or Daytona lol 500c according to him twin cylinder. but great older guy talked to him for about 3 hrs and I told him I didn't have the cash yet just wanted to see how bad the frame was. the 82 XT I actually already grabbed before thinking twice because I found it cheap and saw a bad ass conversion but still not sure where that guy got his parts. last is the Kawasaki kz550 its actually 2 whole bikes titled and all one needs work. all for about the same price minus my 82 XT which is was far less and is basically a frame wheels blown tires and supposedly running engine. but I could turn around and sell the XT and pick up one of the others. there is a decent 71 Honda CL450 which I love to grab and go all Bonita applebum on it but it's just complete doesn't run no title andweathered and would completely eat all my proposed start up money, lets just say I could buy all three and still be $50 richer then buying the Honda. So thats it just looking for some friendly advice or not so Friendly doesn't bother me. Thanks guys! oh i know how pics keep the ball rolling
