Trying to find an Acewell 2853... :/

Anybody have any idea whats up with Electrosport? I called them last week and they answered all my questions, then this week all I have been getting is their answering machine. I can only assume they're doing some type of maintenance because at the beginning of the week their vmail box was full, now it isnt, and yesterday there website was down so who knows... But im trying to order a damn gauge from them because I can get the the speedo cables and everything in one shot whereas JCwhitney and such only sell the gauges. Any idea where else I can get a 2853 Chrome gauge with the cable?

3 weeks ago I bought a Electrosport reg/rec for my gsxr from a local supplier. It turns out that its a bad unit, (not regulating and it charging my battery at 19v)...
I spoke to them then,.. "no problem sir, send it to us and once we get it, we'll send you a replacement"...
I send it over, got confirmation that they recieved it via Canadapost tracking and now I cant get through to them over the past week!!..
I ve sent an email to them, left then 3 messages on the Warranty/TEch support extension voice mail box and nothing!!..

IF you happen to hear anything, post up.. Im just as curious as you are!!.. Id hate to be out $139..

Wow, good thing my impatience didnt get the best of me and plot down the 149 for a speedo. I will def let you know. Has it just been this week since you havent been able to get ahold of them?
 
you know.. interestingly enough again, I just got this email at about 5 ish:

I asked them to send it overnight express as I've been waiting over 2 weeks, 1 week just for their reply...

Guys - our good friends at Dime City Cycle carry the Acewell gauges. I'm sure they could get you what you want. Click on the ad at the top of the page to check them out and contact them.

They're good supporters of our site and are good guys to boot.

I apologize for not keeping you in the loop regarding your package. We are currently extremely understaffed and in the process of moving to a new facility since we have been purchased from another company. I completely understand your frustration and I would feel the exact same way if I was on your end. I shipped the warranted part out to you today and you should have it by Friday. I’m terribly disappointed that after 19 days when you last confirmed that my replacement regulator/rectifier #ERS550 would be sent out, I still have not received the package or any confirmation that it has been sent out. Even more disappointing is that 6 emails request for information all have gone unanswered, as well as no return calls after numerous voice messages were left on the sales extension #1 voice mail box.

If I had known that it would be this difficult or take this long to resolve any issue with Electrosport, I never would have purchased the electrosport reg/rec in the first place.

At this point, I’m writing off the fact that:
1. I’ll ever get a replacement regulator rectifier for the one I originally purchased on April 5/10,
2. I’ll ever get a confirmation of any sort or that my replacement was ever sent out as promised on May 7th: Return Code: ESRA-1395
3. I’ll never get a cash refund for the faulty Electrosport regulator that purchased since you currently have the faulty piece that I sent you on April 16/10, received by Eletrosport on April 16/10

Your companies policy on customer service and support needs to be reviewed and refreshed since it is severely under par and is consistent with a company that is going bankrupt.

Unfortunately, considering my loss and lack of recourse on this matter, there is nothing I can do except warn and advise my members and friends against, (via my website and blog with 6000 members: www.dotheton.com), the purchasing of any Electrosport products or services.

At this point, I’ll cease any further emails or requests for confirmation and consider the case closed and funds lost.

Ya man, they've responded to all my questions within a week and they did send me the universal speedo cable that I ordered so thats all good, but I bet they are going through a lot of shit if hes telling the truth, which i would suspect he would be since they seemed to have a good reputation up until about 2 months ago when they all of a sudden seemed unreachable. A drastic change in service like that could mean that they are understaffed and going through a lot of changes. Inconvenient as hell, yes, but what are you gonna do ya know... :/ I still have about a month to get my other issues with my bike sorted so it's forcing me to be patient with the gauge. Good luck though, hope you get that rec soon, keep me updated!!
 
hi im new here but had to join after trying to get some info on electrosport and found this post
those guys are trying to rob me too because i also ordered a stator while they were changing ownership and item came damaged and its been hell ever since, i sent the package back and got no replies for days no call backs nothing and now they want to deny i ever sent anything back to them even though trent kirby personally recieved the item so im really hating this company now and just want to advise people to buy elsewhere this company doesnt know a thing about customer service and i dont think they give a damn about them either
boycott electrosport and maybe we can force the new company to go under as well

Here is what happened with Electrosport Industries also I would like to apologize to all of the people that this affected.

ElectrexUSA DBA Electrosport was going through some financial hardship and downsized greatly, basically going from 11 employees to 2. ElectrexUSA DBA Electrosport unfortunately had to shut the doors for good since we were unable to stay in business. During this time myself and the other employee were laid off until the public auction of ElectrexUSA DBA Electrosport which took place about 8 weeks ago. At this public auction a company by the name of Procom purchase the Electrosport name along with some of the inventory. The company that was located in Oceanside CA went out of business permanently and Procom is starting another Electrosport in Irvine Ca.

If anyone has any questions at all please feel free to ask. Also if anyone wants to really know what happen with Travis (ArcadeSkate) please feel free to email me. I wouldn't listen to anything he has to say and will be more then happy to post the treating emails he made towards Electrosport and myself personally. I will be the first to agree that there are customers out there that got the short end of the stick when ElectrexUSA DBA Electrsport when it went out of business. I can assure you the new company will not be ran like the previous company what so ever. Again I would like to apologize to the people that got the short end of the stick when the company went out of business.
