Been Around the Block
Hey all,
Working on a 1976 Suzuki TS250 and have replaced the rear tire, bearings etc, trued up the rear and now that its all together, the tire bulges in one specific area which i believe is being caused by the Stopper Bead, making the rotation of the rear wheel look untrue. In the image below it is part number 39.
Im not familiar with stopper beads, but it was installed when i removed the old tire so i put it back in when reassembling. I think that its placement has stopped the tire bead from being able to fit as far into the cincher rim as it should... but the name bead stopper leaves me questioning whether this is intentional. If you want photos of the actual area let me know and i will upload some.
