Its about time I introduce myself considering I have been on here for almost two years and have read nearly every single post on the site. I
"finished" my bike two summers ago but it seems that every time winter rolls around I get bored and think of something different I want to do. This site has been an awesome source of inspiration as well as a wealth of technical knowledge and I am very grateful. My name is Alex, Im 25 and live in Tulsa Ok. I bought a turd of a 1978 cb750 in the summer of '09 to trick out and have worked religiously on it since then.
Here she is when i brought 'er home.....
And this is somewhat close to what she looks like now (always changing)
I have learned a lot throughout this build and believe I have much to offer/repay. Nearly everything on the bike I made by hand, ( tank, seat, hidden two up tail, rearsets (they are actually a silhouette of a naked girl), clip ons, etc. if its going to be old school you may as well build it old school, besides... there is nothing more satisfying than seeing something in your mind and creating it to exactly what you envisioned. I have most of the build documented and figure I should probably start a build thread, and will most likely have two running at once since I just bought another cb500 as a project. Anyways thought I'd get my name out on the boards and be more a part of the DTT community. THANKS- Alex
